World renowned speaker on religious diversity, Dr. Jill Carroll, comes to Unity Church of Overland Park

As part of the 11 Days of Global Unity: A Season of Interfaith Celebration, Dr. Jill Carroll comes to Unity Church of Overland Park Sunday morning to share her message “Creating a Kingdom of God.” She will present a workshop at 1:30pm titled "The Worlds of Religion." 

 

Dr. Carroll is an expert on world religions and speaks internationally on issues of religion and world politics, and the importance of religious diversity training. She is the Executive Director of the Boniuk Center for the Study and Advancement of Religious Tolerance at Rice University. She has done religious diversity training for corporations, schools and other groups, and she co-produces and co-hosts a radio show, “Peaceful Coexistence,” which airs on Houston’s Pacifica station KPFT 90.1 FM and on podcast at www.boniukcenter.org.
