Another Mother for Peace - Another Mother for Peace is a non-profit, non-partisan association dedicated to eliminating the use of war as a means of solving disputes among nations, people and ideologies.

 

Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education - Dedicated to the multidisciplinary study of violence that leads to scientifically based violence prevention programs and widely applicable violence prevention policy. 

 

Business for Social Responsibility - Through advisory services, convening's and research, BSR works with corporations and concerned stakeholders of all types to create a more just and sustainable global economy. 

 

The Center for Nonviolent Communication - A global organization helping people connect compassionately with themselves and one another through Nonviolent Communication language, created by Marshall B. Rosenberg, Ph.D.

 

Center for Urban Peace - transformative practices & programs for agents of social change.

 

Code Pink - People who want to influence a shift in the focus of world society and governments from militarism to life affirming endeavors. 

 

Communities of Peace Foundation - Our mission is to provide a format for people to identify themselves as peacemakers at the earliest possible age, a means to evoke each person's intrinsic nature, and a platform for participants to contribute their unique positive contributions of peace into the community. 

 

The Council for a Parliament of the World's Religions strives to cultivate harmony among the world's religious and spiritual communities and foster their engagement with the world and its other guiding institutions in order to achieve a peaceful, just, and sustainable world.

 

Department of Peace - Our goal is to take the field of peace building from the margins of the political and societal dialogue and bring it to its rightful place: Central to our policymaking, investment and understanding. 

 

Earthstewards Network - The Earthstewards Network is a nonprofit international organization devoted to bringing positive change to our planet through the grassroots efforts of people like you. 

 

Fellowship of Reconciliation - We are an interfaith organization committed to active nonviolence as a transforming way of life and as a means of radical change.

Michigan Peace Teams - Offers nonviolence training workshops and provide opportunities to join peace teams.

 

National Women’s Studies Association - Leading the field of women’s studies in educational and social transformation.

 

New Songs for Peace - This UNESCO-endorsed project is intended to encourage people to think about peace, talk about peace, and write a new song that we will collect and self-publish in a book.

Peace Trees Vietnam - Founded in 1996 to renew relationships with the people of Vietnam and promote a safe, healthy future for its children.

 

Physicians for Social Responsibility - The medical and public health voice working to prevent the use or spread of nuclear weapons and to slow, stop and reverse global warming and toxic degradation of the environment.

 

Pluralism Project at Harvard University - Helps Americans engage with the realities of religious diversity through research, outreach, and the active dissemination of resources.

 

Restorative Solutions - Dedicated to inspiring and supporting individuals, organizations and communities to embrace restorative community justice values and principles.

 

S.A.R.A.H. –Spiritual And Religious Alliance for Hope. A group of interfaith women committed to making a difference through collaboration, discussion, understanding and community service.

 

Unity-and-Diversity World Council - The Purpose of the UDC is to establish and sustain a worldwide coordinating body of individuals, groups, and networks -- to foster the emergence of a new person and civilization based on the dynamic integration of diversity among all peoples and all life.

 

Tikkun Community - We are a community of people from many faiths and traditions, called together by TIKKUN magazine and its vision of healing and transforming our world.

 

United Communities of Spirit - A global interfaith network, linking people of diverse faiths and beliefs who want to work with others to build a better world.

Wholistic Peace Institute - The Institute was formed to bring to bear the “creativity and the unique knowledge” of the Nobel Peace Laureates to solving the world’s most violent prone and dangerous problem areas.

 

World Peace Prayer Society - Spreads the Universal Peace Message and Prayer, May Peace Prevail On Earth, far and wide to embrace the lands and people of this Earth.

 

Youth for Environmental Sanity - YES! is a nonprofit organization that connects, inspires and empowers young change makers to join forces for a thriving, just and sustainable way of life.

Ahmadiyya Islam - The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Islam was created under divine guidance with the objective to rejuvenate Islamic moral and spiritual values.

 

Alliance for Jewish Renewal - Established for meaningful learning rooted in Torah and tradition, Kabbalah and Hasidism combined with a modern consciousness that is politically progressive, egalitarian and environmentally aware.

 

American Friends Service Committee - This organization was founded by the Religious Society of Friends (the Quakers) in 1917. They carry out service, development and peace programs throughout the world. 888-588-2372.

 

American Muslim Voice - Our mission is to protect and preserve civil liberties and constitutional rights for ALL.

 

Bahá'í - The Bahá'í vision of a united, peaceful world reflects an understanding that humanity is approaching its maturity and is able to create a global society founded on justice and expressing trust, collaboration, and compassion.

 

Buddhist Peace Fellowship - Wisdom and compassion for social change. 

 

CaoDai - CaoDai is a universal faith with the principle that all religions have one same divine origin, which is God, or Allah, or the Tao, or the Nothingness, one same ethic based on LOVE and JUSTICE, and are just different manifestations of one same TRUTH. 

 

Church of the Brethren - Peace Mission: Developing leadership for peace in each new generation. Nurturing spirit-filled discipleship and active response to violence. Teaching and leading healthy, faithful responses to conflict.

 

Mennonite Church USA - The mission of Peace and Justice Support Network of Mennonite Church USA is to proclaim and promote God's desire for justice, Christ's call to peacemaking , and the Spirit's reconciling work.

 

Pax Christi USA - Pax Christi strives to create a world that reflects the Peace of Christ by exploring, articulating, and witnessing to the call of Christian nonviolence. 

 

The Religious Society of Friends - Religious witness for PEACE since 1660.   

 

Unitarian Universalists - Religious principles call us to strive for a world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.

 

Unity - Unity is a not-for-profit organization based on the teachings of Jesus and the healing power of prayer. Our prayer, publishing, education and retreat ministries allow us to provide people around the world with positive, spiritual messages of hope, healing, prosperity and peace.

EMPOWERING CO-CREATION

  • This year during the 11 Days of Global Unity: A Season of Interfaith Celebration members involved in the Institute of HeartMath Global Coherence Project are being asked to start sending heart-focused care and intention towards this special event. They would begin in earnest on September 14, a week before the U.N International Day of Peace on September 21.

  •  

  • The Global Coherence Project is a science-based initiative uniting millions of people in heart-focused care and intention, to shift global consciousness from instability and discord to balance, cooperation and enduring peace.


  • We, the WorldIn 2004 We, the World launched 11 Days of Global Unity as a breakthrough platform for linking local awareness and action campaigns into an inspiring international movement for peace, sustainability and transformation.

     

    Unity, the Association of Unity Churches International and the Association for Global New Thought and are proud to be participating in creating a culture of peace and celebrating a sustainable future.
